A Turkish Exfoliating Mitt or Kese is a self-care ritual with roots in the baths of Turkey known as a Hammam, meaning “Spreader of Warmth.” In a Hammam, purifying the skin and body is attributed to a deep exfoliation treatment using a “Kese.” The use of this exfoliating mitten is now a recognized skin renewal and purifying treatment.
